Founders Park houses a number of historical buildings. A short heritage railway line is operated by the Nelson Railway Society. Several shops operate in the park, selling bakery and other artisan foods, as well as locally-made arts & crafts.

Our famous National Park is well worth a visit. Drive from Nelson to Marahau, the park's Southern access point, in less than an hour. Sample the park by boat or by foot (or a combination of the two)
