The Valley Bakery

Berg Air has plenty to offer and makes for a great afternoon out with the family. If you’re lucky you will also see some small aircraft taking off and landing on the airstrip.
• Drakensberg Chocolate Memories make their own scrumptious chocolates and gorgeous home roasted coffee.
• Macedonia Cheese Co have a variety of homemade cheeses and platters for you to enjoy
• Hillbillies. This farm fresh store holds many tasty treats, fruit, vegetables, meats, cheeses, milk, preserves, rusks, frozen meals and all local.
• Drakensberg Brewery has several craft beers made on site for you to sip and slurp. There are also some very nice gin cocktails on offer for those that aren’t so drawn to the beers.
• The Bistro serves some very tasty meals that can also be sent over to the Brewery to enjoy with your beer.
• Farm Friends it a lovely store selling beautiful handmade and artistic items, metal craft, homemade preserves and jams as well as “free to roam” meat – beef and lamb

Activities
This is one of our favourite morning activities!
Greg and Alison are very passionate about their sanctuary and the birds in it, they are incredibly knowledgeable and put on an amazing show.
The show starts at 1030 every day (weather permitting) except Mondays and Fridays. Get there a little early to get the best seats as it will often fill up quickly.
Don't forget your sunscreen, the show is out in the open and will last about an hour. There are snacks and drinks available to buy on site.

The World Renowned Drakensberg Boys Choir plays to an auditorium filled to capacity on Wednesdays at 1530 during term time. These Wednesday concerts and music festivals, which include Music in the Mountains, rated as one of the top festivals in the country showcasing the coral music of the Drakensberg boys’ Choir and featuring some of the country’s most popular artists.
Also available is Christmas in the Berg running over a weekend in December - A festival running over the weekend full of carols, Mozart and the boy's pure talent.
