Mountain bike heaven. The owner knows Galbraith well so ask for tips and routes! Ride from the guest house on 90% trail.

South Bay Trail

If you want to get a feel for the San Juans but your time is limited, take a 5-minute ferry (after 20-minute drive from town) to Lummi Island. World-class restaurant the Willows Inn is there, plus the Beach Store Cafe for regular folk.

Ride the Interurban trail 7 miles south of town, with trail offshoots into the Chuckanut Mountains for miles and miles of exploration. Some trails open to bikes, too!
