It's a very large Town Hall which hosts various events and once a month there is a film club in the Octagon. Very close to our house.

Parks & Nature
Our house is within the Yorkshire Dales National Park
It is about 35 mins drive from Grassington and it is a spectacular Cove. Park in the Dales National Park car park (charges apply) and walk up to the cove. To the left are (lots of) stairs that take you to the top of the cove. Lime stone pavement at the top and the place they shot a Harry Potter scene. Enjoy the view.

Malham Cove
It is about 35 mins drive from Grassington and it is a spectacular Cove. Park in the Dales National Park car park (charges apply) and walk up to the cove. To the left are (lots of) stairs that take you to the top of the cove. Lime stone pavement at the top and the place they shot a Harry Potter scene. Enjoy the view.
It is a very large overhanging crag. Very good climbers climb there or they can be seen hanging on their ropes.

It is a very large overhanging crag. Very good climbers climb there or they can be seen hanging on their ropes.
The bridge over the river Wharfe is very pretty. Nice walk along the river, the first kilometre has been concreted as an accessible path. There is a big field where you can park (charges apply) the river is good for swimming.

Dales Way
Dales WayThis Long Distance Walk goes right through Grassington and yards from our house.
This is a spectacular setting under Kilnsey Crag. Here you can fly fish or take the family for a family fish. You have to buy the trout you catch. We can arrange to cook them on our BBQ or smoke them here.
There is also a tea room and nature trail with red squirrels.

Our village. Pretty, cobbles, independent gift shops, post office, mini supermarket, hardware shop that sells everything, wine shop, pubs, tearooms, bookstore, library, river Wharfe nearby. Lots of walks start here. You can bike from here both off and on road.
