This is an old English pub right near Muir Beach (you can walk to the beach from the Pelican). The pub has money from all over the world on the ceiling, dart boards & wonderful charm. You can get a good beer or a hot cocoa. Food is only served during meal time, so best to check on that if you're planning to dine there. The restaurant has pretty good English food & a wonderful fireplace. They have a good Sunday champagne brunch.

You can get a good beer or a hot cocoa. Food is only served during meal time, so best to check on that if you're planning to dine there. The restaurant has pretty good English food & a wonderful fireplace. They have a good Sunday champagne brunch.

This is across the Richmond / San Rafael bridge - about 30 minutes away. Beaches, hiking & trails. Mill Valley has Tennessee Valley. If you go over to the horse stables, there's a beautiful hiking trail down to the beach or you can take other trails to go along the coast to Muir Beach which is a 2.9 mile hike each way. A couple favorite places to eat are the Dipsea Cafe (Mill Valley) which has delicious brunch, and The Pelican Inn.

Pt Richmond is only 10 minutes away & it's a charming little town with lots of shops, restaurants and art galleries. It's also near the water/ shoreline, which has a nice public park. And there's a beautiful public pool called the Richmond Plunge.
