On the 1st Wednesday of each month , at 3:30 pm, the Montgomery County EMA conducts a test of the emergency sirens. Do not be alarmed. The test lasts roughly 5 minutes. If there is a potential threat of inclement weather on the siren test day, they will NOT proceed with the test, as not to confuse the public with an ACTUAL siren warning.
