This is a lovely little wooded area across Grove st. There are two man made ponds that you can skate on when they freeze over in the winter. The road leads up to the Brooks mansion (the only home older than this one in the area), the original home of the Brooks family, which also owned this house. While you鈥檙e hiking, be on the look out for bard owls, woodpeckers, deer, and even coyote! (The coyote are generally not interested in humans, although I suggest not provoking them 馃檪).

The Fells are a great place to hike. It鈥檚 extensive with both hard and easy paths. At this particular address there鈥檚 the parking area that is closest to Wright鈥檚 Tower. From there you can get a spectacular view of Boston!
