Farouk Badr has owned and run this place for over twenty years and it is always good. Great sampler plates with olives, falafel, tabouleh, baba ganoush and dolmas. They also have live music and belly dancing on Friday and Saturday night!

The Blue Ridge Parkway has stunning views of the area. It's a great way to get a glimpse of the area. It is also a good launch for hiking. Be prepared for colder weather and rain. It is closed in the winter.
