Beautifully set stylish restaurant, a 15 minute cycle from my place, outside the outskirts of town, very good priced coffees .

The Happy Pear is a well known place of two twin brothers who have produced great delicious vegetarian cook books and have become famous in Ireland and their beautiful reasonable organic restaurant, cafe can be found in Greystones. A great thing to do is to take the bus to Bray, then do the cliff walk from Bray to Greystones which takes around one to two hours, and upon arriving in Greystones you will be met with the Happy Pear very near the end of the cliff walk.

A great thing to do is to take the bus to Bray, then do the cliff walk from Bray to Greystones which takes around one to two hours, and upon arriving in Greystones you will be met with the Happy Pear very near the end of the cliff walk.

Whelans is a great Irish scene, they set up a lot of evenings of Irish music and have a special room for bands as well. They also have fire places. A great traditional Irish bar to go to right in the center of town.

This is a must see bar in Dublin. In the garden they have a renovated double decker bus that has been painted and you can sit inside with you drinks. From the double decker bus they make delicious pizzas and people queue up to get one.

Howth is one of Dublin beautiful coastal areas. You get off on the coast, and there is a coastal walk with special secluded sports you can jump of. When you get off the train into Howth there is also a wonderful everyday market right across from the train station and a road full of great places to eat.

You can get a bus from UCD to Bray, Bray is an iconic spot near Dublin. The bus takes around half an hour. When you get to Bray they have wonderful places to eat and drink and you can walk the coast. You will see a cross on top of a hill, Bray head, and you can walk up there to see the great views. If you continue the walk you can do the beautiful cliff walk to Greystones and stop of at the famous Happy Pear for drinks and food.

Dun Laoghaire is one of Irelands famous old ports, it has a newly beauitfully set maritime museum, and walking the port can be the most breathtaking view. They also hold markets along the sea fronts and have a hotel and great places to eat.
