Miles of sandy Puget Sound beach with camping area, picnic area, fire pits, restrooms, giant playground, 300 ft. fishing pier and hiking. 15711 marine drive, Approx a 25 minute drive SW from Fountaingate Estate! Kayak point county park is 670 acres and boasts 3,300 feet of scenic shoreline, Comb the beach for seashells! Beautiful scenery. Fantastic place to catch the sunset at dusk. There is also a 5 star golf course right across the street! There may be a parking fee at the county beach park (varies $5-$8?) so bring a little cash just in case! The park generally closes right after dusk.

Kayak Point

Also check out nearby “monte cristo” it is a 5 or 6 mile hike up to an old abandoned mining town. Great outdoor adventure if you love nature and hiking, and not too difficult.

Located just south west of downtown Arlington.

The owner, Steve Saunders, has created a fabulous blast from the past atmosphere with an incredible menu! Yummy salads, pizzas, burgers, etc all home made. A local hang out. Small but cozy and friendly atmosphere. If Steve is on site he will send out to you New free samplers of wonderful menu creations :) If you want a feel for the small-town aura of Arlington check this place out

Super friendly staff and a great bar food style menu. This place has a definite small-town country charm to it. Taco Tuesdays on Tuesday is a popular time for $2 tacos, karaoke on weds nights.

The huge Star Center antique mall is located here as well as a plethora of other charming antique stores and unique gift shops! Several fantastic restaurants and pubs are also to be found, all on 1st Street. There are also seasonal home tours of the many historic homes found in Snohomish! We have several ferry runs up and down the coast of Washington. Among our favorites is the Anacortes to San Juan Islands run. The Anacortes ferry terminal is west off of exit 229 from interstate 5. Approx 40-45 drive north west from Fountaingate Estate. Calling in advance to make a reservation is very much advised! This beautiful and scenic ferry ride takes you to Friday Harbor, Lopez Island, Orcas Island (where the world famous Rosario Resort is, be sure to look up this destination, it’s fabulous) as well as Shaw Island.
