The Heide offers stretches of trails through hills and fields that give you an uplifting wide-open view. The flowers bloom purple in August and September, and the rest of the year offer vistas of quiet, and sometimes the famous Heidschnucken sheep. Easiest point of entry from our house is from the Hotel Hof Sudermuehlen parking lot, 7 minutes away.
