The pizza is pretty decent here if you've got to have pizza. I had the buffalo chicken a couple of years ago and it was yummy! My mother would say pass on this place though. Haha

This is the go-to place in the area for fresh seafood and sushi. Super busy at dinner time in the summer and they don’t take reservations (as of this writing in Feb 2022). They also have a fish market with very fresh fish. Locals love it. Be warned, it can be very noisy.

83 Marion RdThis is the go-to place in the area for fresh seafood and sushi. Super busy at dinner time in the summer and they don’t take reservations (as of this writing in Feb 2022). They also have a fish market with very fresh fish. Locals love it. Be warned, it can be very noisy.
This is my favorite place to go out for a nice meal on the water. They have oysters and excellent cocktails. The chickpea burger is crave-worthy (I know you don’t go to a seafood place for a chickpea burger but it is verrrry good). Definitely make a reservation before heading out - it’s about a half hour drive if there’s no cape traffic. Don’t recommend going over on a Friday night in the summer. No cocktail is worth that travel headache!

This waterfront watering hole is only open during the summer. I’ve had wonderful steamers and oysters here and mediocre cocktails. The view is lovely and the atmosphere is fun.

This is the place to go for "Greek style" pizza. I'm not sure why it's called greek style but I do know this place is the best around. As of Spring '22 this is the place we buy pizza from. Quick and well priced.

Best kept secret for thrifting in the area. It's not the biggest thrift shop but it's my favorite. I've found lots of higher end clothes there for great prices! Open Wednesday and Saturdays from 10am - 1pm.

Lots of dealers here. I've found some great objects here. Prices are usually pretty good - rare to find a bargain and rare to see anything completely over priced. Excellent place for rainy day browsing.

This large grocery store will have everything you need. It's not the cheapest in the area but it's consistently good. The seafood is fresh - never had a problem buying fish here.

This seafood market has excellent clam chowder and house prepared shrimp. If you like to shuck your own oysters this is a good place to buy them.

This is my go-to grocery store. Definitely the least expensive groceries in the area. They don’t have everything but what they do have is usually good.

Take a right out of the driveway and walk about 2 minutes and you’ll come to Brainard Marsh. Walk down the path and come to a small beach. It’s a great spot to take the little ones for a swim. I go there in the morning for daily meditation. If it’s recently rained or close to sunset put some mosquito repellent on to get through the woods. Enjoy!
