Located right on historic Route 24, we are conveniently situated between Brunswick & the islands of Harpswell. All rooms have ocean views. The tidal beach & the floating dock (May-Dec) is ideal for seasonal fishing, lounging & swimming.

Our home, a renovated 1930’s Maine summer cottage, is located 1 mile from Kennebunk beaches and 1.5 miles from dining and shopping in Kennebunkport’s Dock Square. Close to golf, nature trails and only a 1/2 mile from the Mousam River for fishing and kayaking, it’s a great location to take in all southern coastal Maine has to offer. The cottage provides plenty of outdoor space, so come relax, dine on the back deck and take in the night sky with s'mores by the fire pit.

Taproot Cottage is cozy, quiet, comfortable and nestled in the beautiful White Mountain foothills of Brownfield, ME. Just one mile from the Stone Mountain Arts Center, 30 minutes to North Conway, NH, and easy access to hiking trails, mountain vistas, and the Lakes Region of western Maine. It offers a well-equipped kitchen/dining/ living room combination, full bath, a relaxing sunroom with full-sized futon for additional sleeping, and a loft bedroom with a queen bed.

#4 Vintage Cottage walk to the beach and Pier!

3 night Min. stay 6/1 to Labor Day. Cottage 4 is a 2 bedroom classic cottage with soothing beach colors and well appointed with comfortable furnishings. It is our only cottage with a claw foot bath tub. The cottage has a fully stocked kitchen with pots and pans. The cottage also has a private deck with a gas grill. A short walk, and you are at the 7 mile stretch of sandy beach and pier. Yes we allow pets.

The “Barnacle” - Close to beach!

The Barnacle is a just right size and space with fully stocked cooking kitchen, and private deck with grill. We are located on a corner lot and a 3 minute walk to 7 miles of sandy beach. Mini golf, amusement park, concerts are all within walking distance. Our house is in a neighborhood that is less busy. Parking is on site in your own driveway. A grill and outside table are provided.
