Set in the heart of a beautiful, sleepy village, this charming cottage is the perfect base for a relaxing family stay. In summer, the little village comes to life, with a friendly bar, restaurants, a fantastic bakery just a minute walk and a swimming lake within easy walking distance. Everything you need is close by, while the cottage itself feels peaceful and tucked Patio doors from the kitchen open onto a surprisingly spacious private courtyard offering sun throughout the day. A perfect touch.

Charming wing in French Country House

We look forward to welcoming you into the characterful 'Petit Manoir' in the heart of the Perigord Vert. Our extensive gardens are the perfect place to relax, or if you wish to venture further, there are plenty of walks from the front door. The charming wing includes a master bedroom on the first floor with adjoining pigeonnier for use as study or extra bedroom, while the ground floor comprises a spacious bathroom with walk-in shower, kitchen, open plan living/dining room and an exercise room.

Cette maison de bourg est refaite à neuf. Elle bénéficie d'un patio fermé, d'une grande pièce à vivre, ainsi que d'un ravissant petit salon. La première chambre possède un lit 140×190. La seconde chambre a deux lits 90×190 qui peuvent être rapprochés à la demande et un lit 140×200 . Il y a une salle de bain avec WC. Il y a le marché (tous les vendredis), les bars, trois restaurants, un Proxy, tabac-presse, boulangerie-pâtisserie, station 24/24 et une borne de recharge pour voiture électrique .

Welcome to the beauty of our small hamlet called Savanat, in the commune of Abjat sur Bandiat, situated in the Perigord Vert region of the Dordogne. The nearest main town is Nontron with all the large Supermarkets and amenities. The nearest Airport is Limoges, which around an hours drive away and is a RyanAir route. Please be advised that our swimming pool will remain closed during the winter period and will only be open for guest use from the 15th of April 2026 until 20th of October 2026.

Little Owl Cottage

Lovely cosy cottage for one or two set on our little French farm in the beautiful and peaceful North Dordogne countryside. The cottage is nestled in 30 acres of fields and woodland where you can watch our many animals pottering around enjoying their sunny French retirement! We are halfway between the pretty villages of Mialet and Saint-Jory-de-Chalais which are well serviced with shops, bars, restaurants and boulangeries. Both villages are less than 5 minutes by car or 30 minutes on foot.

Le Moulin Gite

Le Moulin is a self contained gite next to the pretty river Bandiat. It sleeps up to 7 people in 3 bedrooms. Guests enjoy a large private kitchen and living space and an en suite bathroom with every room. A cot may be added. Dogs are welcome for a charge of 10€ per night per dog. Le Moulin gite has a seating area outside and access to the 8ha of grounds. This garden is not fenced and is bisected by access to the host's property. Large woodburner downstairs and electric heating.

La Saucisserie - Maison du Maître

Relax with the whole family in the Master's House of the former sausage factory. Enjoy stunning countryside views over the Perigord Vert in the north Dordogne, with your own private enclosed garden, private pool, terrace, large outdoor dining table, shaded seating, BBQ. Share other facilities on site such as the pool, honour bar, petanque and other games. Or simply relax and walk in the extensive grounds. The village with basic amenities is less than a 10 minute easy stroll away.

La ferme est tournée vers la nature et la forêt tout en étant située aux portes du village pour ceux qui voudront se procurer des viennoiseries, aller au restaurant ou boire un café en terrasse.

La Longère est une ancienne Grange de 370m2, pour 21 personnes, qui est située dans un hameau, au milieu de la nature et à proximité de nombreux sites touristiques de la région. Idéal pour passer des vacances inoubliables entre amis, pour vos réunions de famille, anniversaires, cousinades... ou pour un séminaire d'entreprise. Vous pouvez profiter de la piscine privée de 12m x 6m avec plusieurs terrasses et barbecues.
