Only 16km (10miles) to Florence the toll free highway is 3km from the house. Car is a must.

There is also an inner courtyard with water well and red fish. From the windows of the apartment we overlook the piazza of Sant'Agostino with the well in the centre, and on the sides the Churches of St. Augustine and St Peter. a fantastic experience.

Peaceful hideaway in a 11th century Tuscan village

Imagine a former medieval tower, once part of a 11th century fortified castle. As you enter, like in most Tuscan country houses, there is a kitchen with a stone sink. A stairway brings to the first floor where there are two bedrooms with their original terracotta floors and wooden beams. They both offer a gorgeus, unobstructed view of Chianti vineyards and hills. And a private access to a terracotta terrace facing the valley. It's hard to imagine a more peaceful scenery.
