The Old Canal House at Halfmoon

Located in a 200-year old historic brick house, the guest apartment is fully furnished and all windows face the Mohawk River and a scenic walk path. Nearby Kayak rental is available. We are located a few minutes’ drive from The Klam'er Tavern and Marina and about 30 minutes from Saratoga Springs and Albany, where art performances, concerts and dining experiences await you. At all times, you can enjoy the view on the river from your own private patio or the warmth of the fire pit in the yard.

Cabin 9 has expansive views of the Erie Canal/Mohawk River, fully stocked kitchen with granite, huge front porch with table, gas grill and relaxing chairs PLUS a screened in back porch for relaxing with a woods view. The guest residence is decorated in a rustic adirondack style, with spacious living room, kitchen and 2 decks overlooking the lake, and plenty of parking. Comfy queen sized beds in both bedrooms. Master bedroom has cooling mattress, so you'll sleep like a baby! The living room can accommodate a couple of additional people.
