Deer often come onto the backyard in the evenings, so you can enjoy the sunset next to the outdoor fireplace as you watch the wildlife. This 1928 coal miner's home feels a little like going to Grandma's house. It is localed on a quiet street with pretty views from the hill behind the house. Helper's Historic downtown is an approx 1/4 mile walk to the east (down the historic staircase, under the freeway tunnel & over the swinging bridge). The town is filled with character & history. It is a great stay for a small family or a romantic getaway for a couple looking to recharge. Well-behaved pets are welcome for a small fee.

A super cozy mountain yurt with your comfort in mind. We have a lot of yurting experience and we think this yurt has it all. It is remote and high up in the mountains, yet a short drive from civilization. Plus, if you're traveling along Highway 6, it is only a stone's throw away! Come stay for one night, the weekend, or a whole week. This yurt has it all! Dogs are allowed for a small pet fee. You can drive to the yurt in non winter months, otherwise, the hike in is ~1.9 miles.
