Spacious cabin beside the sea

Situated in the township of Braes, only a 15 minute drive from Portree, our cabin 'moonen' overlooks the Sound of Raasay. It sits on the sea side of an old church building, near the shoreline. It is peaceful here and a haven for wildlife. You can sometimes see whales and dolphins from your window and seals and otters on the nearby shore. Roe deer, sea eagles and buzzards are a common sight too. Enjoy beautiful views over to the Island of Raasay from both the bedroom and living area.

Falasgair is a modern cabin on a working croft, which captures uninterrupted views over Portree bay, Ben Tianavaig and the Cuillin hills in the far distance. Our one bedroom apartment is ideally situated 8 miles from Portree on the Isle of Skye. With it's seaside location and beautiful sea and mountain views, it's an ideal base for your stay on Skye. Our rural location is peaceful and relaxing with a lovely beach a 10 minute walk way but only a 15 minute drive to the shops, restaurants and bars in Portree. There is a sofa bed in the lounge so the apartment can accommodate up to 4 adults. We can also provide a cot and highchair.
