Take a 5 min stroll down a wooded path to the lakefront where you will find another campfire pit, a dock, canoe, kayak and SUP to use and plenty of space for activities year-round.

Cook your meals over the fire or grill and bask in the sunsets from the wood-fired hot tub (seasonal) or cozy in the dome through the panoramic window. Lyncreek Cottage is open year round. it sits on private property on Lyndhurst river in Lyndhurst, Ontario. Observe various types of waterfowl or enjoy the sound of our meandering river as it flows into Lyndhurst Lake. This is all part of the natural surroundings in your own private cottage. A great place to stay if you are travelling through the area or while enjoying all the area has to offer including excellent fishing, paddling and hiking area trails.

Off-Grid Yurt at Mossy Hollow

Welcome to Mossy Hollow! A cozy nature retreat in the Rideau Lakes. This beautiful off-grid yurt has a queen sized bed + futon, a woodstove, a kitchenette with camp stove and bbq, a fire pit, and 6acres of forest to explore. Wood for the stove is provided (campfire wood is not). Drinking/washing water are provided. Bring your own sleeping bag, bedding is not provided. You will be surrounded by peaceful nature! A beautiful getaway in any season.
