Our ranch is close to Theodore Roosevelt National Park, Medora, Medora Musical, Maah Daah Hey trail and restaurants. We offer a different experience than you will get it Medora. The ranch is a peaceful retreat while being an easy 8 mile drive from town. Guests routinely tell us the ranch rivals the national park for scenery and its right out their door. Two bedrooms feature queen size beds while the third offers a twin trundle bed. It is clean and updated with central air and heat. This location borders Makoshika State Park. You'll enjoy views of the badlands right outside your windows. This park offers a variety of activities, from hiking, disc golf, guided dinosaur adventures, and other events throughout the summer months. You will also be close to the downtown area, where boutique shopping, coffee shops, and bars are located. The Yellowstone River is also right there, offering trails and agate & hunting. We also welcome hunters to the area.

The Horseshoe Cabin was built in 2001. This log cabin is one of 3 cabins located on our working cattle ranch. We are located in the heart of the Badlands, only 14 miles south of the Theodore Roosevelt National Park, North Unit, and 65 miles north of the TRNP South Unit. We have miles of hiking trails or riding trails if you prefer to bring your horses. This secluded cabin has it's own private hot tub and all your modern amenities but still has that rustic feel.
