It has a heated indoor pool so even in the winter time you can enjoy the water with view of the lake. There is a dock as well. So if you happen to want to enjoy the lake, you can. Parking at top of paved drive may be necessary for rear-wheel drive cars during inclement weather.

Located at the top of a mountain in the Cherokee National Forest, this home is the perfect getaway from the city with no street lights or engine noise! 4/10 of a mile to Lake Watauga and the Appalachian Trail. >15 mins to zip lines, hiking & under an hour to the NC ski slopes. Route to home is on paved, all season roads. Driveway is steep, but parking available on the street also. NO FIRES ALLOWED ON THIS PROPERTY.
