In the heart of the village on the bowling green, Sanctuary Cottage is a stone’s throw from the beach, pubs/restaurants, shops (fashion, beauty, butcher, bakery), zoo, botanical gardens & walks. There is also a ferry to Teignmouth. With 2 separate living rooms, it is easy to relax & enjoy games, or settle down to a good book in peace. The apartment is situated on the second floor and has recently been fully refurbished and tastefully furnished and decorated. There are fabulous views of Shaldon harbour and beach from every window. Probably the best views of Shaldon from the double aspect windows of the living room. Watch the boats come in and out of the harbour, the constantly changing panarama of sand, sea and sky. A short level walk to the local shops, cafes and pubs. Shaldon Beach 10 m and Ness Beach less than 15 minutes.

The annex is a self-contained apartment below our house, comprising a comfortable open-plan living area, with bifold doors opening on to a patio and garden area, with a view of the Teign estuary. A kitchenette area contains a fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster and sink unit, all of which can be shut off when not in use. The dining space has a foldaway table and the bedroom a super-king bed, with a separate dressing area and clothes rail, and a modern ensuite bathroom with shower.
