The Snug is a modern self contained compact studio,recently renovated ,situated in a good location in the village of Ullapool,close to all local amenities. One of a few ,local guest accommodations that accepts one night stays. The Snug has a double bed (Simba ) ,shower, toilet, TV, ( free view) free WiFi, tea & Nespresso coffee machine, also towels/linen supplied.A small fridge on site. Best suited for couples or singles. Free on street parking & not in Cul de Sac or right outside my neighbours!

The Hide - off-grid-ish woodland cabin near NC500

The Hide is a super get-away for anyone travelling around Scotland on the NC500 or on your own adventure looking for a unique stay. Almost off-grid, it has a comfy bed, central woodburner and spectacular view. It's the perfect stepping stone towards the full off-grid experience, intended for people who are curious about living the off-grid lifestyle but also like to be able to charge their phone, boil a kettle and have a hot shower! Situated at the end of an 8 mile single track road off the NC500, it's perfect to explore the Highlands. Created with love and attention to detail, we wish that you will experience a unique stay in a wonderful little crofting township. Dogs on leads are very welcome.

Cosy lounge with wood burning stove, 3 bdrms, 2 bthrms. The famous Smoo Cave and closest pub/restaurant are one mile away. Durness village hosts two shops, petrol station, and another pub/restaurant. Balnakeil Craft Village has local artists and businesses including a chocolatier, hairdresser, eatery, art galleries, and more.

Berriscue House is a beautiful, bespoke cottage - located in the centre of Thurso, hidden away from the world with a large walled garden and private entrance. Five minute walk from the beach. Just a short walk from Melvich beach great for swimming, fishing, surfing, or just a gentle stroll along the beach, a truly beautiful getaway from the hustle and bustle of life. The cottage whilst boasting all modern amenities still keeps a lot of its original features.
