Ager Costa

Nestled on the edge of Buseto Palizzolo, a small village 20 km from Trapani, is Ager Costa — one of our most welcoming villas in Sicily. The location is quiet but not overly isolated, with lots of sunshine, countryside views and other village houses nearby. On warm days, cool off in the beach-style private swimming pool, or lounge on one of the sun chairs. An outdoor barbecue is a great way to cook up a casual meal—once it’s ready, enjoy it in the alfresco dining area. A daily tidying service is included. Inside the villa you’ll notice touches of exposed stone and a pleasant mix of antiques and contemporary pieces throughout, and more importantly, that the furnishings are both tasteful and comfortable. The main kitchen comes fully equipped with plenty of appliances, including an 8-burner gas stove, dishwasher, microwave and two refrigerators. An upstairs kitchenette is convenient for preparing light snacks and refreshments. The villa’s eight bedrooms accommodate up to 16 guests. Each suite features an ensuite bathroom with a private shower and air conditioning, while most offer mini bar and LCD televisions. A junior suite is ideal for young families, as are bedrooms 6 and 7 which share an interconnecting door. Two bedrooms feature French beds (47 inches / 120 cm wide) which is between the sizes of a single and a double bed. There are plenty of charming towns and archeological sites to explore nearby, including the medieval old town center of Erice and the temple of Segesta. Settle into a life-affirming stay in the Ostuni countryside with this artfully-designed villa. The old-world towns of Cisternino and Martina Franca are a short drive through enchanting countryside. Begin your day with a refreshing swim in the lengthy pool that partners this luxurious villa, before emerging and relaxing on the shaded sun recliners. It’s the simplicity yet finery of the property that helps it to stand out so well, with the stone floors and wooden panelled walls providing a cleanly defined and modern-feeling space for friends or family to relax in. Villa Elizabeth

The sights, sounds and scent of the sea are a feast for the senses at Villa Elizabeth. Perched on the Amalfi Coast near Conca dei Marini, this gorgeous vacation rental offers a spectacular location for an Italian getaway. Reserve its three bedrooms for a holiday with family, an escape with friends or even a sun-kissed honeymoon. Get close to the sea on the villa’s multiple levels of private terraces, which spill down the hillside toward the water. There are lemon trees and vegetable gardens (to whose produce guests are welcome), an outdoor kitchen with a barbecue, a seasonal saltwater pool and a swimming deck at the shoreline. Inside, a blue and white color scheme is a nod to the seaside location of this luxury property. The tiled floors were handmade in Vietri and flow throughout both living rooms and the fully equipped kitchen. Both sitting areas have TVs, and Wi-Fi is available in both the indoor and outdoor living areas. The three bedrooms at Villa Elizabeth are divided between two separate “cottage” areas; all three have double beds and sea views. The first cottage has one bedroom with an en-suite bathroom and one with a shared hall bathroom, and the second has a primary suite with a shared hall bathroom and its own terrace. The second cottage also has an additional double bed, if extra accommodations are needed. The villa is set just off the road between Amalfi and Positano, a short distance from the scenic beach at the Fiordo of Furore, making it easy to spend a day exploring both towns and the glorious coastline in between.
