Windy Hall is somewhere very special. High in the Pennines it offers one of the most magnificent views in England. You may want to stay and enjoy the peace & quiet, but we are ideally placed for trips west to the Lake District, east to the magnificent cathedral city of Durham, and north to Hadrian's Wall. A cosy, converted byre set in tranquil Cumbrian countryside, this is a perfect base for exploring the Lake District or a peaceful hideaway for two. We live in the adjoining farmhouse, but you have your own parking area and separate front door. Surrounded by wildlife, trees and traditional farmland, it offers perfect peace and relaxation. There is fibre broadband. Dogs welcome! King size bed or two single beds.

Enjoy the sounds of nature when you stay in this unique place. The perfect base for walking or biking the area or visiting the local towns and amazing sights or to just stop and relax and refresh. This is a dog friendly accommodation however any other pet ie cat/donkey/giant python I'm afraid has to be left at home and I ask you keep dog on the leash when around the car park and walkways.
