A stone and wooden house with turfroof situated on a hillside. A very quiet place with only sheep, birds and green grass as far as the eye can see. Right infront of the house is the Northatlantic ocean. There are no neighbors. Ideal for someone looking for a quiet tranquil accommodation. Older very cozy small house in the great nature area in the village of Haldarsvík. The house is next to a river, the local church and a small beach. The spectacular Fossá is only a walk of less then 3 km away. By car there are 5 minutes to Tjørnuvík and less then 45 minutes to Tórshavn.

The house is very old. Originally the house was half the size it is today, only around 15m2. In 1884 they built it bigger, around 29m2. Nobody knows how old the original house is. People have been living in the small village of Tjørnuvík for thousand years.
