This Kyo-machiya is a traditional Kyoto architectural style. It is a consecutive style townhouse, a maisonette type terrace house. Whole house charter for you. It is close to schools and universities and is in a safe, relaxed, local area with many families with children and students. It has two bedrooms, a shower , and a full kitchen. Capacity 5 adults. In addition, up to 2 infants who do not require a bed can stay free of charge. Kyoto City accommodation tax is required per person per night.

灯-Akari- is the real good old Japanese house that has Tatami floors, Futons and very small old bath tub. You will have a wonderful life experience of Japanese people in there!! It’s only a 8 minute walk away from the local train station called “Fujinomori’ that it’s only 2 stops away from ‘Fushimi Inari’ where “Fushimi Inari taisha” is at. The host will be there at the house when you check-in so that you will know how to use all home appliances and everything else you need to know easily.

Traditional "Kyo-Machiya" with open-air bath. Whole house rent for one group, so you can relax with your family, friends or lovers. Please take a bath to recover from the fatigue of your journey. Moreover, we prepare a massage chair, so you will have a good sleep at night. It takes only 2 min walk to "Sumizome Station", so great access to sightseeing spots such as "Kiyomizu Temple" or "Fushimi-Inari Shrine". There are many restaurants and grocery stores around the house.

Our inn was apparently built in the early Showa period. We have renovated the bathroom and kitchen areas to make your stay more comfortable while still retaining the charm of the townhouse, such as the low ceilings and narrow, steep stairs. Why not try experiencing a bit of Kyoto life? Please note that we will charge a local accommodation tax (200 yen per person per night) in addition to the accommodation fee. The price is scheduled to increase from March 2026.

Fushimi ivy is near to Kintetsu Train, it just takes 2 minutes on foot from Fushimi Station to our apartment.If you want to go to Fushimi Inari Shrine, just walk about 10~15 mintunes to take Kehan train.The famous Japanese sake--Gekkeikan, the brewery is near to Fushimi Ivy. You can buy the freshest sake there. By the way, there is a large supermarket in opposite, it is very convenient to live in Fushimi Ivy.
