We are also a short mile from the Parker Mill Wedding venue. We are close to many mountain biking trails, kayaking, and water sports, and the Nantahala outdoor center.

Convenient Tuckasegee river access across the street and close to many hiking spots! When not touring the area, relax outdoors and enjoy the antics of our resident goats, donkeys, geese and chickens.

Dragon’s Knoll at Deal’s Gap | Cabin Loft

New! Spacious secluded retreat 2 miles from the tail of the dragon! **Caution: long gravel/dirt driveway. Your vehicle will require at least 5 to 6 inches of clearance to safely traverse the road but accessible for vehicles with trailers up to 14 ft. A small price to pay for literally living on the dragon. A 2 bedroom loft with bathroom, full kitchen, reading nook, and air conditioning. Loft is over a detached 3 car garage with private exterior stairway and plenty of parking space.

Our studio cabin is located 20 minutes from the south end of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, in between Cherokee and Sylva. Brew pubs and highly rated eateries are within a 10 minute drive. Rafting, hiking, and biking- just 15 minutes away. Lake Fontana or the Blue Ridge Parkway within 20 minutes. Enjoy peace, nature and "off-line" living at our hidden bungalow.

Welcome to Fox Holler in the heart of Townsend, the "Peaceful Side" of the Smokies! Located just .5 miles beyond the Townsend Visitor's Center (host to many events and festivals), 5 miles to the GSMNP entrance, and minutes to the river. Only 15 miles to Cades Cove, 18 to Pigeon Forge, or 25 to Gatlinburg. Bring your bicycle to take in all the bike paths and the new Vee Hollow Mountain Bike Trail. Great local dining, breweries, and ice cream!
