This clean and cozy three-story licensed house is located beside the peaceful Takase River, just a 5-minute walk from Keihan Kiyomizu-Gojo Station, offering both convenience and a quiet Kyoto atmosphere. It takes only 10 seconds to reach the Takase River and about 2 minutes to the Kamo River, that is Kyoto’s most beautiful riverside walking /riding area. A 24-hour supermarket (Fresco) is located nearby, and the neighborhood is known for many hidden cafés, local restaurants, and small shops.

The location of the hotel is in a place where you can walk to downtown area of Kyoto and famous temples. It is a very convenient place.

Set along a city street, it retains original beams and slender walls, so everyday neighbourhood sounds may be part of the experience. This 2-storey home, connected by stairs only, accommodates up to 5 guests with a queen bed and up to 3 futons. Traditional features blend with modern comfort, including a tatami living room, an open-style bathtub, and a small garden patio.

Our inn was apparently built in the early Showa period. We have renovated the bathroom and kitchen areas to make your stay more comfortable while still retaining the charm of the townhouse, such as the low ceilings and narrow, steep stairs. Why not try experiencing a bit of Kyoto life? Please note that we will charge a local accommodation tax (200 yen per person per night) in addition to the accommodation fee. The tax fee will increase to 400 yen from March 1, 2026.

｢Tabitabi Kawama｣is located between Kamo-river and Takase-river, and the word 〝Kawama〞means inter-river in Japanese. On the second floor, there is a specially-built independent balcony facing to Kamo-river. Opening the window, you could enjoy the breeze from the Kamo-river, to feel the charm of the mother river "Kamogawa" Kyoto. The design of house is based on the traditional Japanese style, such as wallpaper made of tinfoil and traditional tatami.

Machiya Stay in Gojo, Near Gion and Kyoto Sta.

The house was an Ochaya (literally "tea house")before and we renovated it, which is an establishment where patrons are entertained by geisha. We kept the original structure and make it much more modern and comfortable. The river in front of the house is the must-see in Kyoto changing from cherry bloom to maples. The best location near Gojo bridge and Kiyomizuーgojo sta. can make it very convenient to all the famous spots.

京町家貸切宿｢高瀬川七条｣は築115年の京町家をフルリノベーションした宿泊施設です｡京都の美しい風景を形作る京町家を､当時の構造を残したまま､京都特有の蒸し暑い夏､底冷えの厳しい冬にも快適にお過ごしいただけるよう､気密性･断熱性能の高い建物に仕立て直しました｡ 1階の和室からは『露地』(※茶室へ通じる庭)をイメージした坪庭をご覧いただくことができます｡また､廊下にはゆったりとくつろぎながら坪庭を眺めることができるようソファをご用意しました｡夜にはライトアップされた坪庭を眺めながら､癒しの時間をお過ごしいただけます｡ 2階には寝室が2部屋あり､シングルベッド2台の和室とシングルベッド2台の洋室をご用意しました。 5名様以上でご宿泊の場合は､少しご面倒ですが1階の和室にお布団を敷き､寝室としてご利用いただきます｡ キッチンには簡単なお料理ができるよう調理器具と食器のご用意がございます｡
