Great stop off whilst cycling on the Tarka Trail

The tarka trail is great for family biking and you can rent bikes. With bike rental companies in Braunton and Fremington Key. We recommend cycling between Fremington Key and Instow, the Glorious Oyster cafe is set in the sand dunes and offers great seafood (It needs to be a dry summers day as outside seating only). Or in the winter the Johns of Instow deli offers delicious food too.

Its one of the best of a lot of very good cafes in the area, another great view and you can hire bikes here to go on to the Traka trail which runs for miles in either direction, or you can just walk. Dog friendly

Fremington Quay Café (10am-5pm) free parking and café on Tarka trail with walk and biking towards Barnstaple or Instow.
