The Dream Stream is a 3-mile long Colorado Tailwater section of the South Platte River nestled in the high mountain plains in South Park. This is prime big trout habitat located between Spinney Mountain Reservoir and Eleven Mile Reservoir. This portion is public and has easy bank access, a very popular destination for Colorado fly fisherman. These trout can grow as there is an abundance of scuds, mayflies, midges and caddisflies, which make up the majority of a trout's diet, along with hoppers, trout fry and eggs. An angler's dream!
