I love Hartland Point - it has dramatic coastal vistas featuring Hartland's recognisable black rock formations and every changing water colours. You can swim in the shallow part of the beach but anyone, regardless of swimming ability, should be wary to swim deeper as currents are strong off the headland.

The car park near the light house is a good starting point for walks along the coastal path in both directions. And a spectacular circular walk to the pub at Hartland Quay.

Enjoy walking , walk the coast path to clovelly and catch the Stagecoach bus 319 back to Hartland , departs from the Clovelly visitors centre - CHECK THEIR WEBSITE FOR UPTO DATE BUS TIMES
