The totem pole tour is well worth it and the museum itself has a great collection of Haida and natural history items to get you oriented to this amazing archipelago. In summer, there are almost daily talks and walks. Some wonderful gifts in the museum store.

MUST have lunch at the Kay Bistro when you visit the Haida Heritage Centre - or even when you don't. The best sandwiches on island. They also usually have huge cookies for dessert.
