Restaurant and Pub. The Pipe and Glass is a former coaching inn set in the glorious surroundings of the Dalton Estate. Run since 2006 by James and Kate Mackenzie, the pub and restaurant have gained an international reputation and many major awards, including a Michelin star (held since 2010). The Pipe and Glass is first and foremost a friendly pub where you can grab a sandwich and a beer. For a relaxing pint, a glass of delicious wine, or a nightcap at the end of a long day, our welcoming bar is just the place.

Bit of a trek out but our local Michelin starred restaurant. Booking is highly advised.

A Michelin starred pub, a 20 minute drive away from Country Huts on the Wolds. Definitely something to experience.

This pub/restaurant has gained an international reputation and many major awards, including a Michelin star (held since 2010). and is first and foremost a friendly pub where you can grab a sandwich and a beer. For a relaxing pint, a glass of delicious wine, or a nightcap at the end of a long day, our welcoming bar is just the place. Their regularly changing menus, including one for vegetarians, reflect the seasons. And as parents themselves, they appreciate how important it is that children feel included with their own special little people’s menu.
