Closest mountain ski resort. Just up the mountain from downtown Banff. Also offers Tubing, Night Skiing, and Via Ferrata mountain climbing during non-winter season.

To ski or ride Norquay, is to do it completely on your terms. We’re the high-action mountain with zero pressure (plus, we’re all really nice here – ask us for our favourite Norquay spots). Ski lines on our steeper terrain, take it easy on our gentle, undulating groomers and perfectly-groomed beginner runs, or test your tricks-status on our terrain park. However you choose to Norquay, do it with a big dose of fun, and make sure to take in the mighty peaks of Banff National Park that surround us – it’s 360 degrees of awesome.

On the way up to the Mount Norquay ski resort there is a grassy area where you can pull over and have a picnic with views of Banff and the Bow Valeey below you.
