As many have said, Sonny’s may not look like much but wow, they have been making up for it with food and atmosphere since 1944. Located just .4 miles from the quarters through the historic San Jacinto neighborhood, the hardest decision will be to get the burger or the muffuletta. There are many great muffulettas on the island but Sonny’s grilled version is certainly high on the list!!

Sonny is almost 90 and still shows up every day! He is a local resident with a local following so get there early if you don't want to wait in line. Open for lunch until 2 pm. Open again for dinner at 5 pm.
