A modern eco-friendly stone-built retreat, set in a private olive grove using regenerative farming, just 2 km from the sea, surrounded by olives, pines and cedars, with views of Ha Gorge. Efthimia's house

Efthimia's house is a traditional stone house situated in the old neighborhood of Kavousi village, between the two byzantine churches of Saint George and Twelve Apostles. The history of this house includes a true love story and marriage during the years of the 1 rst World War of my Great-granparents Efthimia and Michalis. About 100 years later my fother and i decided to restore and renovate this traditional house with much love and respect and to offer a real Cretan experience to our guests.

Met respect voor de traditionele bouw, maar zonder in te leveren op comfort. Kavousi is een traditioneel Grieks dorp waar soms de tijd even lijkt te hebben stilgestaan. Ondanks dat je hier weinig toeristen tegenkomt, is het dorp het hele jaar door levendig en is er meer dan genoeg te ontdekken.
