For 1 to 9 people, at a per person rate, Alkantmooi offers peaceful family self-catering, self-service accommodation against the Mariepskop mountain Kampersrus, near the Kruger National Park, Hoedspruit and East Gate Airport. Close to Blyde River Canyon Dam, Moholoholo Wildlife Rehab Centre, and Kampersrus shops. 55km to Orpen Gate Kruger National Park, 39km from Hoedspruit and East Gate Airport.

The Forest Cottage

A self contained cottage with two air conditioned rooms each 10m², situated within an indigenous patch of forest at the base and to the east of the highest peak in the Blyde River Canyon. From the cottage's verdant veranda stretching the entire length of the cottage, guests are afforded magnificent views over the South African Lowveld and in the distance, The Kruger National Park touching the horizon. It is situated at the very top of the village of Kampersrus within a safe and secure homestead.

Please note: Bathroom is open to the bedroom. I live in a little cottage next to the house so will be around 😎 Animals have the right of way here! SPEED LIMIT IS 30KM/H. Please be vigilant of little animals in the road! Bushbabies live in the house and have right of way ☝🏼 Even with all their little poopies!

Kingfisher Cottage is an ideal escape from city life. Located in the Hoedspruit Wildlife Estate, it has the attraction of being close to the restaurants and shops of Hoedspruit whilst providing access to the Greater Kruger & the Blyde River Canyon. The cottage is available to rent for short term stays of 2-14 nights for up to 4 adults on an exclusive basis. If you are a larger family please contact me to see if arrangements can be made. The house is very private with the back patio overlooking unobstructed parkland.

A diverse array of birds also inhabits the surroundings, their constant songs creating a beautiful backdrop to the natural environment.

Out Of Kruger

OUT OF KRUGER is a stylish European/African-inspired house with a separate studio in the Southern Kruger bushveld. Sleeps up to 4 adults: 2-person bookings have the main house (king bed); 3–4 person bookings include the studio (queen bed) at extra cost. The Kruger Park fence is a short walk away. The main house has a solar backup, keeping lights, fridge, Wi-Fi, and aircon on during short outages. Studio not connected. Privacy, comfort, and wildlife await!
