Welcome to Oro. Boutique, private, fully self contained accomodation set within an old tobacco barn. Situated just 20 minutes from Bright, this masterpiece of Australian landscape is cradled by mountains, Happy Valley Creek and 20 acres of delightful farmland. Take a verandah seat to watch the morning mist quietly rise. Observe the abundant wildlife who are happy to call Oro home, or be intoxicated by the afternoon ‘golden hour’. Oro, a place of provision, unfolding beauty, rest and refreshment.

The Miners Cottage is truly a home away from home.

Relax in this peaceful setting. The Cottage sleeps up to 6 people who are provided with all the conveniences needed for a comfortable stay. With a Queen bed in Main Room and two sets bunks in second, linen and towels provided. The fully equipped kitchen includes a fridge, crockery, cutlery, cooking utensils and an electric stove. You are also provided with a hair dryer, TV , washing machine and Dryer. An air conditioner cools in summer warms in winter and a wood heater for warm winter nights.

Reconnect with nature at this unforgettable escape. Little Livingstone is a new Tiny Home surrounded by crown land on three sides, overlooking Livingstone Creek and Mount Mesley. This is compact calm in one remote place, yet still walkable to Main Street. Guests truly feel like Little Livingstone is a real escape, with a super private location, mountain views, creek swimming or relaxing in the bath. A place to disconnect, slow down and breathe. We are TV free, with some games provided.

The Burrow is light and airy and naturally well insulated. The floor to ceiling windows allow guests to view the natural environment and enjoy the night sky. The Hut is located a short drive from Swifts Creek on the Great Alpine Road, alongside the beautiful Tambo River. It is an authentic property restored in 2020 on Woodlands farm. The cattle farm itself spans 1,800 acres across the Tambo Valley. Our unique and remote location means that it's the perfect place to unwind, relax and recharge. We are located an hour from Dinner Plain & Mount Hotham as well as a stone’s throw from the Tambo River, Mitta Mitta and Cobungra Rivers.
