Over 100 years old stockhouse in a little village in the archipelago of Maxmo in Vöyri. The atmosphere is calm and quiet in the village. The place is 10 km from the local center and 40 km from the city center of Vaasa, the capital of the Pohjanmaa/Österbotten county. The region is about 50:50 bilingual finnish-swedish speaking, but the archipelago is nearly 100 % Swedish speaking. Many people speak both languages. English is a common foreign language. You get by with english very well.

Newly renovated guest house with antique interiors in a quiet and peaceful village 18 km outside Uusikaarlepyy and 2km from route E8. My great grandfather built both the guesthouse and the main building in the 1920's.
