Staying here is like a visiting your Mamaw's house. It's simple, old fashioned decor is family friendly. The big front porch is a perfect place to sit with your coffee and watch the birds and butterflies, which are plentiful. Located adjacent to the Davy Crockett National Forest, we also have many deer and other critters in the woods behind the house. There are no visible neighbors, access is by a dirt road. Star gazing here is amazing! It's also only 30 minutes to either Crockett or Lufkin.

Peaceful East Texas getaway

20 acres of relaxation in the piney woods of East Texas. Easily accessible from all directions. This is not a place to exert a lot of energy unless you'd like to visit my firewood splitting department. (I may knock a few dollars off the price if you do!) Owners house is next door, Grill, smoker, fire pit, and additional outdoor shower. Pond is stocked with perch. Beautiful walking trails. Golf cart is onsite but availability may be limited. This was my best friend’s childhood home and we bought it after her Mom died. The house sits on a little over an acre of land, a big beautiful oak tree provides lots of shade in the front.
