The cabin is estimated to have been built originally in the late 1800’s by loggers clearing this area.The cabin is newly renovated to include a huge walk in rain shower with 2 heads. Our house is in a small rural community on the southwest coast of the Key Peninsula, 90 minutes from Seattle, and 45 minutes from Tacoma. We have everything you need for a relaxing get-away: a well-equipped kitchen, books and board games, turntable and records, and a smart TV. Well-behaved dogs are welcome!

You will the love seclusion of nearly two acres of property surrounding the cottage. The perfect place to enjoy a sunny day on the lake or a cup of tea on a rainy day. With adult and kids kayaks, a rowboat, paddleboat, and canoe we have lots of options to get out and explore the lake. Or take a dip off the private dock when the weather is warm.

Looking for a quiet place to get away “glamp” - our special cabin is the place for you. The cabin is SMALL and cozy. Right on the water with use of kayaks, paddle boards, & canoe. It features a queen bed in upstairs sleeping loft as well as a couch that pulls out into a double size sleeper, covered kitchen & private hot shower located OUTSIDE. There's an easy-to-use Incenelet toilet. Someone will meet you to go over check-in when you arrive. We allow you to bring 2 dogs - $50 each.

The Owl's Nest Inn is a cozy cottage behind our home in West Olympia with a private deck, fenced yard, and sauna access. Full-size loft bed (ladder access) and twin bed on the main floor. Kitchenette with induction cooktop, mini fridge, sink, kettle, and drinking water dispenser. Flushing porta potty in the cottage. Private bathroom and shower are in our home's basement, about 30 feet away via a lit path. Walk to the Food Co-op, Capitol Lake, downtown dining, shops, and trails.
