The Sanders Store

The Sanders Store, formerly known to Bloomington natives as Hays Grocery, is a landmark on Fairfax Road. Originally erected in 1913, the Sanders Store operated as a grocery for the Sanders community until 1967. The space was vacant and largely used for storage until 2019 when it was obtained, historically designated, fortified and reimagined into a deluxe vacation rental that sleeps 7! Easy access to the cabin with parking in front of the cabin for easy unloading. Our cabins have AC/Heat and MINI FRIDGE! The cabin is heated by an electric fireplace and cooled by an in wall air conditioner. Queen bed with fitted with mattress cover and fitted sheet. Blankets and pillows are provided by you. A dry sink are in each cabin as well as a mini fridge and coffee maker are provided. Fire pit is just outside the cabin along with private picnic table.
