Twizel retreats - GH Cottage

This newly built cottage is located in a peaceful location. Guests will have sole occupancy of the cottage. It has a great mountain view and the dark night sky reserve here. It's only 45 mins drive to Mt Cook National Park, 10 mins drive to Lake Pukaki. It is air-conditioned and provides all the necessary amenities and essentials to make your stay comfortable. Two bedrooms with a very comfy King size bed and two Single beds. A nice bathroom is completed with a waterfall-style shower head.

We invite you to enjoy the magnificent tranquility of Peak View Cabin. Nestled in 10 acres of golden tussock with expansive views of the Ben Ohau Range and beyond. A short 15 minute drive from Twizel, the cabin has easy access to all the natural amenities the Mackenzie Region is renowned for. Such as - cycling & mountain biking, tramping & hiking, snow sports, hunting and fishing to name but a few.

Our home is situated in an exclusive position directly on the Alps to Ocean Cycle Trail, and is a perfect base for exploring Mount Cook National Park.

This newly built cottage has 1 bedroom, sleeping up to 2 guests. (no children) Located in a Private setting close to town. Only a 5 minute walk to the town centre and shops and restaurants. You can relax on the deck or on the sheltered private lawn surrounded by fruit trees. Fully self-contained with a kitchen and ensuite bathroom. Kitchen includes fridge, microwave, jug, toaster, bench top stove, cutlery and crockery.
