We personally built & designed this beautiful mountain cabin with you, our guest, in mind. From the rough cut lumber to the luxurious bed linens, everything has been chosen to be of the highest quality with your comfort and enjoyment in mind. Listen to the relaxing sounds of Devil Fork Creek on the covered porch or nap along the banks in the two-person hammock. Enjoy a hike at nearby Rocky Fork State Park, then end your day with a warm fire outside gazing at the stars. We can’t wait to host you!

Perched at the highest point of Candee Mountain Retreat in Bakersville, NC, the Green Cabin offers sweeping mountain views and total seclusion. (All wheel drive recommended). This modern arched cabin features a queen bed with plush bedding, cozy sitting area, and private bath with glass-door shower. Enjoy a coffee and tea station, private hot tub, outdoor fire pit, and access to a washer/dryer, hairdryer, and toiletries. A blend of rustic charm and modern comfort—your private mountain hideaway.

Our mountain sanctuary

Come relax and play in the great outdoors. Our area is abundant with lakes, rivers, waterfalls and hiking (the Appalachian trail is just a mile away). Our rustic cabin is built from 1875 hand hewn logs and is located on Spivey Creek in Unicoi County Tennessee. The towns of Erwin TN and Burnsville NC are just down the mountain for shopping convenience. For the arts, entertainment and airport convenience Asheville NC and Johnson City TN are less than an hour away. Come stay in our lovely cabin.

Spivey Falls Cabin, A Cabin by a Waterfall

A secluded cabin with access to two private, large waterfalls in the Mountains of Tennessee. Nestled on a cliff, the beautiful nature offer precipitous trails to a swimming area beneath a waterfall. The family home overlooks a 75 foot cascading waterfall. Garden trails follow along the creek and incline.
