Have you ever wondered what it would be like to stay in a stone cottage? This unique property has great history. It was built as a one room school house in 1836 and was active until 1914. Great studio living, with living room, bedroom, and dining area all combined in one large great room. Original exposed chestnut beams, and provide an airy and comfortable space to relax! In the upstairs unit of a 2-unit house with a private entrance and keypad entry, enjoy a freshly renovated kitchen, living room, bedroom, and master bath complete with a soaking tub for unwinding at the end of your day!

Minutes away to annual Snow Bash events. A short drive to Hinckley, Kayuta, and Piseco lakes. Close access to snowmobile trails that extend across NYS. A 45 minute drive to Utica. An hour or less to Speculator/Old Forge/Piseco. Restaurants/Pub: Haskell's Inn (walking distance), Ohio Tavern(2 mi.) WiFi & Streaming. NO pets.

Free campfire wood included with your stay so you can enjoy s’mores if you just can’t be pulled away from the peaceful serenity, then retire in comfort in a comfortable apartment.
