We are far enough from town to be surrounded by nature with frequent moose visits & exceptional northern lights, while still fairly close to restaurants and shopping (30 min). Some great local activities are heli rides, snowmachine expeditions, hiking and much more!

Located between Valdez and Thompson pass, this little "mini" offers everything you need to be comfortable on your stay. A short 13 mile drive from Valdez will have you nestled in the woods where you will enjoy peace and serenity. Newly renovated Studio-Style BnB offers a private bathroom, and a "mostly" full kitchen. (There is no range/oven, but there is a toaster, Air-Fryer, microwave, and hot-plate for all your cooking needs!) This unit is upstairs with about 12 steps to the top.

Located on our family homestead circa 1963, this is Grammie's home with some mobility aids available. Centrally located in the Copper River Country, this is a great base to explore the region or take day trips to Valdez, McCarthy, or Nabesna. The region is beautiful and full of history and culture. Glacier View Cabin #2 offers a rustic escape near the historic Pinochle Trail and the majestic Matanuska Glacier. Hike, bike, or ride directly from the cabin! Inside, you'll find 1 queen bed, 2 bunks with foam mattresses, small nook, electricity, heater, coffeepot, hot water kettle and microwave. Features include room-darkening shades. Please bring your own drinking water. Our dry cabins offer convenient outhouse, a fire ring, and a picnic table outside.

Experience the beauty of Alaska as our Grandparents did when they first homestead here in the 60s. Pappy Cal and Grandma Mary came north and built their homestead on this very land while mining, raising kids, running a general store, cabins, and a campground. We hope to continue their legacy of hard work and hospitality!
