The Old Church Hall, Ballydehob.

A 200-year-old church hall, transformed into a uniquely spacious & stylish townhouse, accommodating 4 guests in comfort. Terracotta flooring throughout with underfloor heating and a solid-fuel stove. The open-plan layout consists of a fully equipped kitchen and a double-height living/dining area. The bedroom has a King-size bed (200cmx150cm) and en-suite bathroom with shower. The second bedroom is a spacious mezzanine with two single beds. This mezzanine overlooks the open-plan living room.

This cottage is one of six cottages in a restored courtyard . Each cottage is individually designed with lots of attention to detail. On arrival the guests will be greeted with freshly baked scones and a welcome basket. Fresh flowers in all the rooms and fires and candles lighting in the winter months. A road to the shore is just 1km away, while stunning cliffs for walkers are about 2km off. Portmagee and Knights Town are just a 4-minute drive. The monastic Skellig Island (a Star Wars filming location) is a quick boat ride from Portmagee. We welcome up to 2 well-behaved dogs during your stay. 🐕

If you love the ocean, you will love this place. It is an ocean front property directly on the sea, looking at the Bere Island Lighthouse, very quite and private within walking distance to Castletownbere. It has a private automatic gate and the property has a slipway to the sea. Beautiful area to go canoeing. Seals can be seen from time to time. You can watch the Castletownbere fishing boat going out to sea.
