There is a beautiful view from the cabin towards the mountain range Fljótshlíð and the Tindfjallajökull glacier. The cabin is the perfect place to stay if you visit South Iceland. It is near many main attractions, such as waterfalls, glaciers, black beaches, and volcanoes. The cabin has space for four people, with one bedroom with a double bed and one bunk bed with two beds in the living space. We offer incredible cabin located in the heart of South Iceland, the perfect location for sightseeing all the famous natural attractions of the south coast, such as Seljalandsfoss, Skógafoss, natural mountain pool, the black sand beach or ferry to Vestmannaeyjar Island. The cabin is decorated in the typical Icelandic style with two bedrooms and a loft, as well as two bathrooms and an open kitchen/living area. There is also a hot tub on the property to relax after a day of travelling.

"Landbrotshólar". It is a unique volcanic landform. Remote yet close to small town of Kirkjubæjarklaustur.

Fossar Cabin

Our cozy cabin is located in a cove by a lava field and a small creek. It is 44m2 groundfloor and was built in 1962 and I renovated it in 2015. It is located on our farm Fossar , 15km away from village Kirkjubæjarklaustur by road 204.
