This one bedroom self contained unit is nestled within the foothills of the Waitakere ranges in West Auckland. The area presents an ideal escape from Auckland city (but is still within travelling distance as a fringe suburb) where guests can explore the famous west coast beaches, walks and bohemian lifestyle and local culture. The neighbourhood is family friendly and safe. As a host, I am happy to greet you, offer suggestions for your stay or leave you to relax in this peaceful setting.

Compact, purpose-built self-contained studio in Woodlands Park Titirangi, with a deck overlooking our lovely tranquil garden. There is a king-sized bed that can be separated into twin beds. We are located perfectly for access to Auckland’s West Coast beaches and the Waitakere Regional Park with its spectacular hills and forests and delightful Titirangi Village. Central Auckland is only 25 mins drive away. The Punga studio is small, but with everything necessary for a comfortable stay.

We are about 5 minutes drive from, both the Glen Eden train station and Titirangi village. This location is ideal for leisure or business travellers, with a separate and secure entrance, a small outside deck and plenty of privacy.

Tranquil Karekare Valley Home

Tranquil Valley Home, 4 guests 2 upstairs bedrooms. A walk on Karekare beach is one of the most memorable walks in the country. Some of the local bush and coastal walks are also highly rated. Karekare had some significant flooding in February 2023. There are still some road works being completed. We inform guests about these at the time of the booking. Incredible Views Kiwi Bach

Come and stay in our stylish 1950s bach with one of the best views in Piha. Set back from the road, the house feels wonderfully isolated as it sits level with the tree-tops. The amazing view from the deck looks down on South Piha and up the coast to the headland. To the right you can see up the distant valley of native forest. There's two sunny living areas, a simple kitchen, shower and downstairs there's two bedrooms.

Misty Mountain Hut - Piha

A tiny isolated hut amidst Kauri and Rimu trees to escape the world, self check in. Outdoor Fire, long drop, outdoor hot shower/bath. Surrounded by Tuis and Wood pigeons the hut is close to Piha and Karekare…or simply stay and enjoy nature. Beaches are 10 minutes away by car. Grocery shopping and gassing up recommended beforehand. Misty Mountain Hut supports local Piha staff by paying $40/hr.

Oratia Oasis

Private bush setting location. Fully self contained modern living situated on one acre surrounded by NZ native trees and bird life. Oratia Oasis is close to West Coast beaches (Piha) and Waitakere Ranges walking tracks. Only 20kms to Auckland City and 30kms to Auckland Airport.
